On March 15, we were guests at the Brainport Industries Campus in Eindhoven, where the Service Logistics Forum (SLF), together with spareparts.live and DiManEx, organised a meeting about spare parts management: how can you use digitization to take your spare parts management to a higher level?

First, Rutger Sikma, e-commerce project manager, told how Royal Reesink used the spareparts.live for their webshop to make it easier for their customers to order spare parts for Royal Reesink machines. The number of questions during this first presentation already showed how this topic is on the minds of the participants.

Then it was the turn of the organisation: spareparts.live, DiManEx and Additive Center each pitched their product: what digital development do they offer to help companies organise their spare parts management (even) better?

And after coffee it was time for practice. In groups, the participants took a tour of five companies located in the Brainport Industries Campus, all providing a phase in the 3D printing process.

Enthusiastic about all the possibilities and developments, the participants went home. Maybe with even more questions than they came with or with homework for tomorrow..!

Looking back: Spare Parts Management the next level
